Biden and Obama ‘Misread’ America’s IQ as Well (I Hope)
Author: Admin account
07 9th, 2009A little old news here but I have been too busy with my real job to comment on revelations made by Mr. Vice President on ABC News’ This Week last Sunday that he and Barry ‘misread’ the state of the economy when they entered office. This is of course the reason why unemployment has exceeded their initial calculations and why there may be a need for a third stimulus package. Isn’t ‘misread’ a great term to use? I wonder how many back room aids it took to craft that single word as a reason why the administrations economic policies are failing?
Does the American public have the ability to ‘misread’ the sincerity of this statement? Think about it. I know plenty of people who have a huge problem admitting when they do something wrong. The current administration believes that they cannot publicly keep blaming Bush directly, but they can buy some time by indirectly blaming him and at the same time not taking the blame themselves. The fact is it is not too early to stop the current stimulus plan. An estimate I have heard is that only 10% of the stimulus money will be spent by the end of the year. Would it not make sense that if they actually misread how bad the economy was, that they can now READ how bad it is and make a couple of changes in the plans current direction? Am I a complete idiot for thinking this? The problem with these guys is that they are so ridiculously arrogant and drunk on their own wine that the refuse to change their current course. Their inability to do this also validates the initial reaction to the package which was this was full of wasteful spending projects and not all about the job creation they so proudly stated it was. It is not to late Mr. Vice President to put on your reading glasses and take a closer look.

I Just Saved and Created 10,000 Jobs

06 12th, 2009How did I do it? You do believe me? Of course you do not because I have zero facts to back my claims up.
This is the way I have felt for the last couple of months regarding the claims made by Obama and his team regarding all the progress allegedly made in the area of job creation. Seemed a bit vague to me but of course know one would dare question it….
Needless to say, it was refreshing to see the piece below on CBS News last night (Due to the fact that I am an idiot and cannot figure out how to embed video onto this site, below is the link to the piece):
http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5081969n
Think that CBS News has turned into a right-wing mouthpiece now? Below is an article sent to me via a reader from the Wall Street Journal:

Questioning the authenticity of statements made by anyone in public office is our Constitutional right. I hope more media outlets remember this.

RNC Take on The Stimulus

02 17th, 2009Use these points in discussing the plan with your colleagues and they will think you are smart! Use these points if your colleague is a sound bite Dem and they will think you hate Obama!

My favorite quote? Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC): “If I may say, if this is going to be bipartisanship the country is screwed. I know bipartisanship when I see it. I participated in it. I’ve gone back home and gotten primary opponents because I wanted to be bipartisan. There’s nothing about this process that’s been bipartisan. This is not change we can believe in. You rammed it through the House. You started out with idea, we won, we write the bill.”

Stimulus and Other Items
Author: Admin account
02 16th, 2009Was under the weather and then out of town for a very long weekend of wedding and freezing weather. Thanks to Sirius Radio I was able to catch up on Howard Stern and the happenings for the last 5 days regarding news during my 10 hour trip home. Here is a nice breakdown of the winners and losers in this bill that will be signed tomorrow:
http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977593671
My opinion you ask? YIKES! Yours? One of the more interesting items is what Harry Reid managed to slip in:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,332513,00.html
This article does not state the fact that it is included and will be part of the bill. This is a very good example of the many items in the stimulus that are so long term away and not relevant to our current economic crisis. This could get off the ground in 20 years. Why is this even part of it? Why, when questioned about the bill to the Dems always point out the small sections that are good? Why if the goal of an economic stimulus plan is to give an immediate jolt to the economy is there anything in the bill that is not an item which will provide an immediate jolt to the economy? This is a real crappy piece of legislation that will eventually bite the almighty one. It has to.
ALSO, why if there was such a hurry to get the bill passed and a delay would lead to ‘economic catastophre’ did Obama take a long weekend vacation to Chicago and wait until Tuesday to sign the darn thing? Once again, a media opportunity is awaiting in Denver and that is far more important then being consistent.

Its Passed, Now What?
Author: Admin account
02 9th, 2009I know, it is not official yet, but the “Stimulus Plan” looks as though it will be passed by the end of the week. As I posted earlier, candidatePresident Obama is still out trying to rally support for it. Saw a funny reporter say “here we go again on the campaign trail” earlier on one of the evening news programs covering his jaunts to Indiana and Florida. Is this what we have to expect every time the polls drop in support of his plans? If so, this guy is going to be traveling more than any other President in the history of the country. The sobering facts are these. This is going to be a very difficult 2 to 4 years. Zero Republicans voted for this piece in the House and if it was not for the three (Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe and Arlen Specter) we would have had a pretty good story on our hands, and more importantly an example of bad legislation being questioned. I hope we can Free The Elephant of this situation soon!

The Campaign is Over!
Author: Admin account
02 7th, 2009In case someone has not informed him, President Obama is indeed the President. Why in the world does he feel the need to fly to Indiana and Florida to “sell” his stimulus plan? How much money will this cost the taxpayer? Why are you not huddling with Congressional leaders regarding this issue? I have an answer…this makes for good press. Good sound bites and limited explanation. This is how you got to where you are so this is how you are going to keep going until the wind blows you in a different direction.

When Robert Redford Speaks Dems Listen

02 4th, 2009I agree with you Jack:
“We hope today’s decision does not signal the administration is returning to the failed policies of the past, leaving much of America’s vast energy resources locked up while the nation’s demand for energy continues to grow,” Jack Gerard, president of the American Petroleum Institute, said in a statement Wednesday.

The Truth About Obama’s Executive Pay Plan
Folks, sometimes American’s only read the headlines and sometimes the headlines get people elected. When I ‘heard’ about the idea of limiting executive pay to $500K per year for those execs accepting the TARP funds I thought it sounded O.K., but like everything there is MORE to this. Quote followed by article:
“The maximum-wage plan is not retroactive, applying only to companies that tap TARP in the future. The restrictions will apply until a bank pays off its TARP tab and starts behaving. According to an Administration source, “If a bank has restored viability, has paid back the United States government with interest, and is now a completely private-sector bank … then we can return to a time when this is between them and their shareholders.”

Is This Really a Stimulus Plan?
Phenomenal article today from The Wall Street Journal! Really breaks it all down. Did Obama listen to one word when he was ‘courting’ Congressional leaders? Great that he put on a fantastic show for the media and American people by leaving the White House to meet with them but did he listen to anything?

Let’s supply condoms to kids and money to repair the same Mall that all the people who came for change trampled on. Here is an idea. Send 1,000,000 supporters back to Washington with a spreader and some grass seed and let them see the fastest change in American history.Grass freaking grows! Better than 20 million bucks for sod, eh?

This initial entry is to introduce myself. I am not a radical Republican, rather a person who decides how to vote based on facts. I created this blog because I am completely and totally shocked at how the recent election turned out. We elected a person President who 5 years ago was a State Senator.
Although historic and certainly a representation of how our country has socially progressed since its inception, President Obama stormed into the White House with very little experience and a platform and record which was to say the least not heavily scrutinized. In short, his election was based on emotion.
It is my goal to use this platform as a way to centralize the days news and events in order gauge how he and his Congress is doing. I will provide my opinion and welcome others in to debate me. I also hope to awaken people in America to fact based decision making when electing our men and women to lead us. I wish to do this through a branding campaign which will be realized shortly.
