Obama Acted Stupidly
Author: Admin account
07 24th, 2009 One of my favorite things in life is listening to someone, when asked to give their opinion on something, begin their answer with “I do not know all the facts, but…”. It is at this point when I close my ears to the response because it becomes more about the person just wanting to hear himself or herself speak.
The person completely and totally throws any sense of credibility out the window before providing
a response by prefacing his or her statement with: “I don’t know all the facts, but…”. People so often
pretend to be experts when they are really just “know-it-alls” who poison the minds of
unsuspecting listeners with their own opinions, not facts. Even if a response is somewhat fact-based,
a spin is put on the response by the speaker which tailors it to his or her own perspective or beliefs.
Our President’s answer to the question regarding the short arrest of Henry Louis Gates Jr. was a good example of this. Read the police report below:
href=”http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2009/0723092gates1.html”>http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2009/0723092gates1.html
Did you read it? Can you find anywhere in it any sign of the arresting office acting ’stupidly’? I am not going to get into the topic of racial profiling in this country. Why? Because this is not an example of racial profiling. This case is an example of a guy (Gates) who was mad, real mad because he is an elitist, pampered intellectual used to getting his way and for once someone was getting in his way. The fact that he is black is completely irrelevant. Gates himself said on CNN that he was going to USE this as a social experiment for his students. Lucky them.
Regarding Obama. Way to upset the police, that’s always a good idea. In all seriousness, this is yet another example of the profound arrogance of this man and his liberal ways. His answer should have been that he did not know the facts and would not comment, period. His narcissism got in the way once again. Liberals always feel the need to butt into every aspect of our lives. We are seeing this with the stimulus, the auto industry, banking and finance, healthcare, you name it and we will continue to see this more for the next 3 years. Who wants to live this way? This is not the way I want to live and I believe it is slowly becoming apparent that many do not either.

Interview With Mitt Romney
Author: Admin account
07 22nd, 2009In case you missed it, here is a very good interview from Newsweek with Mitt regarding healthcare and how he handled it as Governor. To me it a good example of leadership, consensus building, state run healthcare and the fact that programs of this magnitude take time:

Thought and Picture of The Day,Week,Month, Year….
Author: Admin account
07 21st, 2009So I said to him, “Barack, I know Abe Lincoln, and you ain’t Abe Lincoln.”
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.
…..Abraham Lincoln

Does The CBO’s Opinion Mean Anything?
Author: Admin account
07 17th, 2009Congressional Budget Office (Definition): Primary congressional agency charged with reviewing congressional budgets and other legislative initiatives with budgetary implications.
New Definition as formed by Dems: Annoying policy blocking bureaucratic institution that the American people have no idea what they do thus allowing us to prison style jam legislation down the country’s throat without thorough examination of the consequences because our President’s opinion poll numbers are declining fast, we need to go on vacation and we have to say we did something that we promised we would do no matter what…Whew!
WTF is going on here? Can the CBO be given some time to present their findings to the Congress as to why it feels this will cost us money? Does anyone fully understand what ramifications this may have for our country? I feel like I woke up and Fast Barry O and his band of spenders have taken over my country. Any opinions? Crap, this process of passing legislation is very scary to me. Way too fast, way to pushed, way to dishonest, way to sketchy.

Beat Jon Corzine…Pretty Please?
Author: Admin account
07 16th, 2009I have never liked Jon Corzine since he spent $63 million of his own money to ‘win’ the Senate seat in New Jersey in 2000. Now after his pitiful performance as Governor the last 4 years where he raised taxes and cut tax breaks ( I know unheard of!) he is in some serious trouble in the upcoming November election. So, what do you do when you are a Dem and you are in trouble? Why bring in Barry of course. Barry can fix anything! He is the Chuck Norris of politics, isn’t he?
It seems that the good people of New Jersey may not be fooled for a second time. Over 60% of them still have a favorable rating of Obama but in this election they are going to focus on what is good for the state and evidently the current Governor is not such a good asset. Imagine that. You live in a state and are actually going to vote for what is the best for your state? Sounds like some smart voters. Is this a sign of things to come?

Why Did I Not See Where the Pitch Went?
Author: Admin account
07 15th, 2009If you watched the Obama Campaign Commercial Major League Baseball All Star Game last night you saw the traditional first pitch thrown out by Barry, or did you? Where the heck was it? Where did it end up? How come they did not show it? Weirdest thing I have seen in a long time. Camera is on him, he winds up, releases the ball, we hear a cheer but no camera showing where it went?
Why? Why does this bother me so much? Got my mind to thinking……Perhaps Obama’s people wanted to make sure that the end result could not be seen in case his pitch ended up 50 feet short, wide or high? Or maybe Obama is so fast that he pitched it and ran and caught it also and a simple camera could never catch that speed and ability? Maybe he throws like my 11 year old daughter 7 year old son? What do you think?

Biden and Obama ‘Misread’ America’s IQ as Well (I Hope)
Author: Admin account
07 9th, 2009A little old news here but I have been too busy with my real job to comment on revelations made by Mr. Vice President on ABC News’ This Week last Sunday that he and Barry ‘misread’ the state of the economy when they entered office. This is of course the reason why unemployment has exceeded their initial calculations and why there may be a need for a third stimulus package. Isn’t ‘misread’ a great term to use? I wonder how many back room aids it took to craft that single word as a reason why the administrations economic policies are failing?
Does the American public have the ability to ‘misread’ the sincerity of this statement? Think about it. I know plenty of people who have a huge problem admitting when they do something wrong. The current administration believes that they cannot publicly keep blaming Bush directly, but they can buy some time by indirectly blaming him and at the same time not taking the blame themselves. The fact is it is not too early to stop the current stimulus plan. An estimate I have heard is that only 10% of the stimulus money will be spent by the end of the year. Would it not make sense that if they actually misread how bad the economy was, that they can now READ how bad it is and make a couple of changes in the plans current direction? Am I a complete idiot for thinking this? The problem with these guys is that they are so ridiculously arrogant and drunk on their own wine that the refuse to change their current course. Their inability to do this also validates the initial reaction to the package which was this was full of wasteful spending projects and not all about the job creation they so proudly stated it was. It is not to late Mr. Vice President to put on your reading glasses and take a closer look.

Why Jim DeMint Rocks
Author: Admin account
07 7th, 2009You ever have a moment? I mean a moment, moment? Well, I just did. If you have ever read any entry in this blog you have probably come to the realization that I am not the greatest writer in the world. I can talk, oh man can I talk! I can also argue with the best of them, but for some reason a kinship with the keyboard is not something that I have been blessed with. This is why I stay away from opinion pieces and long editorial and link to articles that I deem informative and representative of the points I can make with the mouth but not with the fingers.
My moment you ask? PLEASE click on the link below, sort of an excerpt from a new book called Saving Freedom by Senator Jim DeMint who proves there are good things coming out of South Carolina:
http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/198/27584/
My favorite part? Well, I like action items! I also like the whole thought of constantly questioning an existing thought process in order to better yourself and the people around you. This allows YOU to take the lead and not be the follower. Here is an exerpt that sums this up and WHY I created this blog in the first place.:
First, we must remake America’s culture of responsibility: in our family life, in our communities, and in our businesses. We must prepare our nation for its rebirth of freedom, so that when government finally does begin to change, our culture and economy can hit the ground running.
And second, this cultural renewal must assert itself in the political arena. Elected politicians are only as unresponsive as their constituents allow. They know that every letter and email and phone call represents hundreds more just like them. They know that Big Government’s worst enemy is an informed citizenry, ready at the next election to punish anyone who infringes on our God-given and constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms. Get involved, and I promise – we will see results.
